First off, please understand that the NEW Sub-Zero models, $12,000 to $13,500, have all kinds of stupid stuff on them now, like WiFi and "Smart Cooling".  They should not have done this but they did. The rule should be, the simpler the better when it comes to refrigeration. They also have to use a less tested Freon gas, so they no longer use the timeless R134a Freon which has been proven to be reliable for decades. That is because of govt regulations. So in our opinion the 600 series models were the last of the quality SZ units. Much more simple design and no unneccessary bells & whistles to break like the new models have.
 
Just listed this refurbished 48" Sub-Zero 632 stainless steel built-in unit. Exterior stainless steel doors are perfect and have no flaws. Interior has no defective parts or missing pieces that we could see, but a few of the clear bins might have some light scuffs. Factory manuals are not included, but you can download them off the internet. Unit only comes as shown in the below photos; what you see is what you will receive. Unit has been completely tested and operates per Sub-Zero factory specs.
 
Let us explain how this works. Many Sub-Zero units will have the fresh food evaporator corrode, leak, and fail. As the Freon gas leaks out of the fresh food evaporator, the unit will slowly get warmer until it no longer gets cold. This never happens to the freezer side. This occurs on the 400, 500, 600, 700 series models.  Then, the Sub-Zero refrigerator guy will make a $150 service call to your house and he will estimate the repair at around $2,000 to $2,500.  ALL OUR UNITS WE REFURBISH HAVE A BRAND NEW SUB-ZERO FACTORY OEM EVAPORATOR INSTALLED. WE DO NOT REFURBISH WITH ANY AFTER-MARKET PARTS.
