Item Description:
First off, please understand that the NEW Sub-Zero models, $12,000 to $13,500, have all kinds of stupid stuff on them now, like WiFi and "Smart Cooling".  They should not have done this but they did. The rule should be, the simpler the better when it comes to refrigeration. They also have to use a less tested Freon gas now, so they no longer use the timeless R134a Freon which has been proven to be reliable for decades. That is because of govt regulations. So in our opinion the 600 series models were the last of the quality SZ units which is a much more simple design and no unneccessary bells & whistles to break like the new models have.
 
This is a hard to find refurbished 42" Sub-Zero 685 stainless steel built-in unit with ice/water in the door. Exterior doors have new stainless steel skins and are perfect with no flaws. Overall, the unit appears in excellent condition, but not 100% perfect.  We would rate it at a 9.5 out of a 10.  Interior has no defective parts or missing pieces that we could see, but a few of the clear bins might have some light scuffs. Factory manuals are not included, but you can download them off the internet. Unit only comes as shown in the below photos; what you see is what you will receive. Unit has been completely tested and operates per Sub-Zero factory specs. About 15 photos are shown. 6 months parts exchange warranty is included (labor cost excluded). Note that we are the only refurbisher who replaces the unit's fresh food evaporator as part of our renewal process. This replacement must be done or you will be paying about $3,000 for the work if you buy a unit without a new evaporator.  Unit only comes as shown in the below photos; what you see is what you will receive. We have been selling on Ebay for the last 23 years under four Ebay seller sites with about 3500 positive feedbacks at 100%.  As part of refurbishing, we always install a new factory OEM Sub-Zero evaporator. We only use factory OEM Sub-Zero parts ordered directly from the Sub-Zero distributor. Aftermarket parts made in China are very cheap at 70% less in cost, but they are complete junk so we will not use them. 50% of the Chinese evaporators come new already leaking since they have no quality control. The Chinese gaskets are too hard and will not fit correctly, so the doors will not close easily, etc. Only what is shown in the below photos will come with the unit.   All our items are professional packaged by us and wood crated ($99 charge) for safe and damage free shipping.
