Every previously owned Sub-Zero refrigerator we sell undergoes a comprehensive inspection, refurbishment, cleaning, and performance-testing process.
We evaluate the major refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic components before the appliance is offered for sale.
Our Process Includes
• Complete mechanical and cosmetic inspection
• New Genuine OEM Sub-Zero fresh-food evaporator installed
• Inspection and replacement as needed of compressors, evaporators, heat exchangers, filter/driers, door gaskets, ice makers, circuit control boards, display components, and other major parts
• Only Genuine OEM Sub-Zero factory replacement parts are used. We do not use aftermarket replacement components.
• Complete interior and exterior cleaning and detailing
• Extended temperature-performance testing using SensorPush® wireless temperature sensors and monitoring software
• Refrigerator and freezer temperatures monitored and logged for 7–21 days
• Testing to verify cooling performance, compressor cycling, temperature stability, and defrost operation
• Final inspection to verify proper operation before shipment
W.A.C. installs a new Genuine OEM Sub-Zero fresh-food evaporator rather than simply reselling the refrigerator with its original evaporator. A future evaporator replacement can be a significant repair expense when refrigeration labor and related components are included. Replacing this component during refurbishment allows us to test the refrigeration system with the new component already installed.
