Originally priced at approximately $15,000, this substantial 48-inch DCS Professional Series range features five sealed gas burners, a large convection oven, a secondary oven, and a professional-style griddle. This is an older DCS model built with a heavy-duty professional design. We received it outside our usual Sub-Zero refrigerator business and are offering it at a substantial discount. The range has been tested, but the secondary oven requires additional diagnosis and repair. Problem could be something simple like a $20 relay or a $10 thermostat safety cut out that just needs to be reset. Bottom line is, we are very busy refurbishing Sub-Zero units and do not have the time to fool with this. Beside, I owned a Thermador range similar to this 48" and I never used the small oven once !

🔧 Oven Operation & Known Issue

The main oven and broiler were tested and operate properly. New igniters were installed in both ovens. The secondary oven currently has an electrical issue: the igniter receives only approximately 24 volts instead of the 110 volts needed for normal operation. We temporarily connected the 110-volt supply from the main oven, and the secondary oven igniter glowed and the oven began heating fine. This suggests the igniter itself can operate when supplied with the correct voltage. However, the underlying electrical or control issue has not been diagnosed or repaired, but we assume it is not a major issue.  The buyer should expect to troubleshoot and repair the secondary oven before relying on it.
