Item Description
 
This is a refurbished 48" Sub-Zero 632 stainless steel built-in unit with the tubular handles. Exterior stainless steel doors are perfect and have no flaws. Overall, the unit appears in excellent condition, but not 100% perfect.  Interior has no defective parts or missing pieces that we could see, but a few of the clear bins might have some light scuffs. Factory manuals are not included, but you can download them off the internet. Unit only comes as shown in the below photos; what you see is what you will receive. Unit has been completely tested and operates per Sub-Zero factory specs. About 15 photos are shown.
 
Let us explain how this works. If you buy any Sub-Zero unit that is not the current BI model, the fresh food evaporator will corrode and fail. The Freon gas will leak out and the fresh food section will slowly get warmer until it no longer gets cold. This never happens to the freezer side. This occurs on the 400, 500, 600, 700 series models.  Not sure about the BI series yet because they have not been out long enough. Then, the Sub-Zero refrigerator guy will make a $80 service call to your house and he will estimate the repair at around $1,800. You can add another $800, or more if he lies about the compressor being bad also, which they often do. Compressors do go out, but not that often and not at the same time. So you can assume that the majority of the Sub-Zero units being sold on Ebay have not had the fresh food evaporator replaced AND THAT IS WHY THEY ARE BEING SOLD.  You can add another $2,000-$2,500 to the price you pay because the part will fail. Additionally, seldom are the stainless steel doors described accurately since most will have some type of damage. The stainless doors are about $1000 each plus installation which can be a nightmare to align.
